Agreement

These terms cover Ask GA4, the application at https://askga4.sailorslab.com, operated by Sailors (sailorslab.com). By signing in or using Ask GA4, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. Sailors is not Google.

The service

Ask GA4 lets you sign in with a Google account, choose a Google Analytics 4 property that account can open, and send questions to Google Analytics Advisor. The app shows the reply and keeps the conversation so you can open it again.

Your Google account

You may use Ask GA4 only with a Google account you are allowed to use, and only for GA4 properties you are allowed to access. You are responsible for the questions you send. You can revoke the app's Google access at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Google user data

Ask GA4 accesses your Google email and name, a read-only view of the GA4 properties you can open, and Analytics Advisor replies for questions you submit. That data is used only to run those features. It is not sold and it is not used for advertising. The privacy policy describes what is stored, who receives it, how long it is kept, and how to ask for deletion.

Ask GA4's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Your use of Google Analytics and Advisor is also subject to Google's terms, privacy policy, and generative AI use policy.

Advisor replies

Replies come from Google Analytics Advisor. They can be incomplete or wrong. Do not treat a reply as a substitute for the numbers in your GA4 reports. You are responsible for decisions you make from a reply.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Ask GA4 to break the law or to access an Analytics property without permission.
• Interfere with the service, attempt to break access controls, or overload Google Analytics quotas.
• Resell the service or present Advisor replies as Sailors' own audit or as a Google product.

We may suspend access that breaks these terms or abuses Analytics quota.

Other services

Sign-in and Analytics requests are provided by Google. Account and conversation data are stored in Supabase. The application is hosted on Render. Those providers have their own terms. An outage, a revoked Google permission, or a used-up Advisor quota can stop a request from completing.

Availability

Ask GA4 is provided as available. Sailors does not promise uninterrupted access or that an Advisor reply is accurate. To the extent the law allows, Sailors is not liable for lost profits, lost data, or decisions made from a reply.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new date. Continued use of Ask GA4 after that update means you accept the new terms. The current version was last updated on October 3, 2026.
